this is the year 1967. we have liz tayloron the cover. look how gorgeous she was. burton analyzes liz. my nagging, scheming, seductiveyet honest wife. those are some interesting adjectives. and we'll see why he's using themwhen we see this fold out copy, which is a new type of format in this magazine, of thetaming of the shrew. which is kind of a hot movie of the time. it was kind of controversial.the other thing i wanted to point out in this magazine. this is a library copy. and that'snot a problem because this could be taken out. but sometimes there's stamps inside andcollectors if they have, like here actually this one is stamped and that's not a goodthing. this one says a certain branch public library and that diminishes the value a littlebit. some purists don't want to see those
stamps on there. this i found really interesting.this is memorabilia about memorabilia. this is an article about collecting. and theseare political collectibles. and if you look at some of these this is actually a collectiblecard. three cheers for george washington. that is an original george washington campaignpiece. right over here lincoln house. over here norwood and wilson. and over here wehave stomach pills. so this is another collectible method. another one that is advertising femura.so this is an article about collectibles at the time. very fascinating.
