welcome to the rite stuff 2.0. churchpublishing's premier liturgy planning software, in this video were going todemonstrate some of the new features of the product. this one in particular we'regoing to talk about the clip art library. from your home screen click on thelibrary icon. from here click on the custom clip art library. here you canmanage any clip art that you want to make available for use in your serviceleaflet. we have a couple of examples here: an easter image and a banner image that we can use as a page divider. the clip art library only uses .png files.png. they're easily found either on the internet or, if you have images of your own, most
images can be converted to png formatusing standard utilities on either the mac with the windows operating system. to upload a piece of clipart to the clip art library click on choose file. fromhere navigate to whichever image you want touse, in this case we're going to use an image of the church. select and clickupload. the image is now available for use in any of your service leaflets. letme show you how that works go to your customized screen. in thisinstance i've moved one of the additional material blocks from thetemplate, at the bottom here, all the way up to the top. and we're going to usethat as a front cover. you see i've
already added a small welcome message.under customizable elements clik on additional items, and then click on the +clipart button. from here choose the image that you want to use, the size thatyou'd like to use it, and whether you like it aligned left, right or center. inthis case i'm going to use a medium size and a i'm going to center it in the middle of my page. click apply. you'll notice that in the preview there's the image. now whenyou go to your preview liturgy you'll see that it's available and will beembedded in your leaflet when you export it for printing.
